Progress in Nigeria demands sacrifices to be made by leaders and followers- Senator-Sharafadeen-Alli

Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, has stated that in order for the nation to advance, both leaders and followers must be willing to make certain sacrifices.

This statement was made on Wednesday by Alli, the senatorial district representative for Oyo South.

The legislator claimed that when leaders and followers each provide their fair share of contributions to the nation’s growth, Nigeria will overcome its challenges.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Alli clarified that President Bola Tinubu was dedicated to tackling the problems facing the country.

The legislator said that the late Chief Moshood Abiola, who won the June 12, 1993 presidential election, made many sacrifices at the expense of his own comfort in a statement released to commemorate Democracy Day.

The statement read, “Today we stand at a crucial juncture in our nation’s history, filled with hope and the promise of a brighter future,” and was signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas. late

“I implore every Nigerian to hold fast to our hope and perseverance as we work together to build a stronger country under President Bola Tinubu’s direction.

“The legacy of Abiola is one of bravery and tenacity. Even at the risk of his own life, he remained steadfast in his demand for his June 12 mandate.
