Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has threatened to sue to retrieve the allegedly stolen election.

Obi committed to use all available legal means to restore his mandate.

The former governor of Anambra State spoke at a gathering of LP stakeholders in Awka.

Remember that Obi finished third in the most recent presidential election.

Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, beat him in the election.

The LP flagbearer claimed he won the election despite finishing third and has gone to court to challenge the results.

On the other hand, Obi tweeted about the gathering and stated: “Earlier, I spoke with Anambra State Labour Party Stakeholders in Awka. The discussion was lively and productive. Our conversations included topics related to the direction the party should go.

“I informed them that I was ready to go the distance and investigate all legal options to make sure we had our mandate back. As I assured them of mine, I sincerely appreciated all of their support thus far. PO.”
