President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following a working leave. His return marks the resumption of official duties as the country navigates key political and economic challenges.
President Bola Tinubu has come back to the country following his weeks-long annual leave in the UK.
In the evening, Tinubu returned to Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport following his working leave.
“The president has arrived,” presidential aide Dada Olusegun announced on his X account on Saturday. “Welcome home, Mr President.”
President Tinubu received a warm welcome from several government officials, including Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila; and Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA), among others.
The two-week work leave is included in his annual vacation time.
