President Tinubu Lands in Equatorial Guinea for Official State Visit
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Equatorial Guinea for an official state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and discussing key areas of cooperation.
A state visit has brought President Bola Tinubu to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
On Wednesday, Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson of the President informed that Prime Minister Manuela Roka Botey welcomed the President upon his arrival in the host country.
On X, it was written that the President later visited the People’s Palace – hosted by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema of the country.
Tinubu left Abuja for Malabo on Wednesday in order to attend the invitation extended by his Equatorial Guinean counterpart.
Tinubu was expected to confer with Nguema and formalize deals on the subjects of oil, gas, and security according to Ajuri Ngelale’s statement as yet another presidential representative.
