President Bola Tinubu, General Yakubu Gowon, and other former leaders gathered in Abuja on Tuesday to attend a book launch ceremony honoring Nigeria’s immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari.

The event was also attended by former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former First Lady Aisha Buhari, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and several other officials.

The book, written by Femi Adesina, will be distributed along with five volumes of another book titled “Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy, 2015-2023.”

This visit marks President Buhari’s first formal visit to the federal capital since the conclusion of his term on May 29th of last year. It is a rare occasion where the current president, as the special guest of honor, and the past president will be seen together publicly since the handover in May.
