President Tinubu has departed Abuja for an official visit to Equatorial Guinea, marking a significant diplomatic trip.
After being invited by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President Bola Tinubu will embark on an official three-day visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea starting from Wednesday.
On Tuesday, a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, verified the particulars of the visit.
President Tinubu and President Mbasogo will convene at Malabo’s Presidential Villa for their visit, focusing primarily on bilateral topics such as oil and gas industry affairs along with regional security matters.

During the discussions, there will be signing of several agreements geared towards improving collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea in these industries.
In addition, it was noted that the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and various other members from the cabinet will accompany President Tinubu.
The delegation is set to engage in the signing of agreements and evaluation of prospects aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between both countries.
