Actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, aka Ashabi Simple, the new spouse of singer Portable, has admitted that she never intended to wed another performer.
After giving birth to his fifth child with the actress a week ago, according to Obasanjonews24, Portable recently confirmed his marriage to her.
Actress Ashabi, however, stated that she had no intention of marrying a fellow “actor, let alone a musician,” in an interview with Face TV Africa.
However, she emphasized that the marriage is a fresh start for her and that she is content because the singer is encouraging.
“I am happy because it was not in my plans and I never considered marrying an actor, let alone a musician,” she said. “But God did not make it the end of my journey because some people’s careers will end when they face situations they did not expect.
“Despite the fact that I am unable to see into the future, I have a feeling that this is not the end for me; rather, it is the start of a new chapter. I’m glad that Portable is willing to provide more support because he already does.
When the actress first began dating the contentious singer, she claimed she was afraid that people would make fun of her.
