He was taken into custody and held for three days before being charged on three counts of assault and theft of musical instruments before an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Ifo.
He was eventually given N800,000 bail, but the magistrate ordered that He be held at the Ilaro detention facility until his bail requirements were fully met.
The Zazu singer released a brand-new song after being freed called “Federal Government Responsibility.” In the song, he boasted of not wearing a jail uniform while he was housed at the Ilaro correctional facility.
Reactions to his brand-new song were conflicting.
Simi praised Portable’s tenacity, saying it merits praise.
