Daniel Bwala praises President Tinubu for delivering on his promises as the Port Harcourt refinery begins production, signaling progress in Nigeria’s energy sector.

Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has responded to reports regarding the commencement of production at the Port Harcourt refinery.

According to Bwala, the start of production at the Port Harcourt refinery shows that Tinubu is keeping his commitments in the energy sector.

Bwala shared on X: “President @officialABAT is fulfilling his commitment in the energy sector, as Port Harcourt refinery prepares to commence full operations. Thank you, Mr. President.”

On Tuesday, reports indicated that the Port Harcourt refinery had started producing fuel.

This update was verified by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

Oluremi Soneye, the spokesperson for NNPCL, announced that truck loading is scheduled to begin today.

According to Soneye, the Port Harcourt Refinery has commenced production and trucks will start loading today, Tuesday.
