On Sunday, Pope Francis expressed his prayers and support for those who had been harmed by the deadliest earthquake to strike Morocco in more than 60 years.
He addressed the throng in St. Peter’s Square after delivering his Angelus message, saying, “I pray for the injured, for those who have lost their lives, so many of them, and for their relatives.”
Additionally, he complimented the rescuers for their efforts in aiding the more than 2,000 casualties of the earthquake.
He continued, “We support the Moroccan people.
