The Presidential Campaign Committee (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said that all of the recent polls that showed support for Peter Obi of the Labour Party, also known as the “Obidient” crowd, were meant to sow the seeds of instability.
This was announced on Wednesday during a press conference in Abuja by Dele Alake, Special Advisor on Media and Strategic Communications.
The polls, he claimed, will only produce despair, pessimism, total disgrace, and disillusionment because the pollsters only indulged in a wild guess.
Alake emphasised that, as far as the presidential election is concerned, there is no proof or actuality on the ground anywhere in Nigeria that supports Obi winning the poll.
He stated that the Labor Party has no chance of winning.
“We have had cause to alert the security agencies to keep these pollsters under watch because their intention is to prepare the ground for unrest by giving false hope of winning to Mr. Obi’s disorganised crowd of supporters who have a propensity for violence with the way they bully, harass, intimidate, and insult anyone who thinks differently from them,” Alake continued.
He stated that the candidates of the APC and the People’s Democratic Party will face off directly in the presidential election (PDP).

Alake emphasised that despite the current issues with the execution of the currency exchange and the fuel shortage, which have affected nearly all Nigerians regardless of social or economic position, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate, is coasting to victory.
The ANAP/NOI and Nextier polls that showed Mr. Obi as the winner or preferred candidate to win the presidential election, he continued, “We particularly find hilarious.”
“We have reason to alert the security agencies to keep these pollsters under watch because their intention is to prepare the ground for unrest by giving false hope of winning to Mr. Obi’s disorganised crowd of supporters who have a penchant for violence with the way they bully, harass, intimidate, and insult anyone who thinks differently from them,” the statement reads.
