Pentagon’s bluff in sending a carrier group to Israel is because it is overstretched and cannot fight another war, According to Randy Credico
Political humorist Randy Credico suggested on Wednesday that direct US involvement in the conflict between Israel and Hamas would be a “big mistake,” and that the Pentagon’s decision to send a carrier group to the area was only a “huge bluff and flexing of muscle.”
Credico asserted that because the US is “so stretched thin, I can’t imagine that they would get involved in this conflict, because it would undoubtedly prompt a massive response from other countries in that region.” “If they go there, this conflict widens, and they draw in Iran, Iran could sink any US ship that gets near them, or near Israel, or near Syria.”
“I believe that whatever is taking place right now is a trap for both Israel and the US, and they should immediately try to deescalate, negotiate, and take action to get out of this mess.”
According to the comedian, there is a “50 to 100%” probability that US weapons provided to Ukraine ended up in the hands of Hamas. He said that given Kiev’s storied corruption and Washington’s lack of accountability, “it’s not surprising at all.”
Credico echoed Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s previous proposal for the adoption of identifying numbers to track US military aid to Ukraine, saying “Not only should they have an inspector general, they should have serial numbers.”

He claimed that such limits would be unlikely to be accepted by military contractors because they would “implicate these weapons companies who are profiting and looking the other way wherever [the weapons] show up.”
