Police Uncover Two Gun Manufacturing Factories in Benue, Arrest Multiple Suspects

Benue State Police uncover two illegal gun manufacturing factories and arrest several suspects involved, marking a significant crackdown on illegal arms production.

The Benue State Police Command has discovered two gun manufacturing facilities located in the Guma and Kwande local government areas.

This information was revealed in a statement issued on Tuesday by Mr. Steve Yabanet, the state Commissioner of Police.

The CP indicated that detectives were dispatched to Mbaafa, Adikpo in Kwande LGA for investigation after receiving credible information about criminals manufacturing arms there.

He stated that on January 11, police raided a gun factory in Mbaafa and arrested Friday Aduduakamve and Iorwashima Iornyume, also known as AK-35.
