An investigation has been launched by the Lagos State Police Command into the tragic death of Anosikwa Patrick, who was allegedly stabbed by a police officer.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident occurred at Skymall shopping mall in the Ajah area of the state on Saturday.
Hundeyin further stated that both the manager and chief security officer of the mall are currently in custody, cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Adegoke Fayoade, has instructed the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department to conduct a thorough and prompt investigation to ensure that the responsible party is held accountable.
The police officer involved has been identified as Inspr Taofeek, a member of the visiting 12 PMF squadron to Lagos.
The police spokesperson assured the public that updates on the investigation will be provided as it progresses.
