According to accounts, an Egyptian national also perished in the Alexandria event.
According to RT Arabic, which cited a representative from the nation’s security service, three foreign visitors—two Israeli tourists and an Egyptian citizen—were killed on Sunday when an Egyptian police officer opened fire in the Mansheya neighbourhood of Alexandria.
A security source informed RT Arabic that “two tourists from Israel were killed, one Egyptian was hurt, and another was injured.” “The policeman was detained right away, and legal action is being initiated against him. For medical attention, the injured person was taken to a hospital.
The incident, which occurred close to the well-known tourist destination Pompey’s Pillar, is thought to have been carried out by a police officer who is thought to have used his own pistol.
Additionally, it was claimed that the victims were travellers from Israel. Onlookers can be seen watching events from behind police barriers in a video that has been circulating on social media and appears to show at least three ambulances on the scene.

In a statement on Sunday, the Israeli foreign ministry acknowledged the passing of two of its citizens.
“This morning, an Alexandrian opened fire on Israeli tourists while they were visiting, killing two Israelis and their Egyptian tour guide,” the statement read. Also present is an injured Israeli who is in fair health.
The invasion into Israel by Palestinian terrorists from Gaza took place the day prior to the attack. Years ago, Egypt and Israel reached a peace agreement, and Egypt has frequently taken part in negotiations to mediate the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
However, there is still a lot of anti-Israeli feeling throughout the country of North Africa, especially in response to incidents of violence between Israelis and Palestinians.
