The Katsina State Police Command said that they stopped a terrorist attack at their Magama “Nipping Point” on the Jibia-Katsina Road. They said that one terrorist was killed and that others ran away with varying degrees of bullet wounds.
From the attackers, one AK-47 rifle, four magazines holding 90 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, cash, and other items were found.
SP According to Isah Gambo, the spokesman who made this announcement in a press release on Monday, two of the officers of the Katsina Police Command suffered injuries in the terrorist attack.
The thugs who carried out the attack on Monday at 4:30 a.m. were numerous, but after a bloody gunfight, Gambo’s agents eventually brought them under control.
In the statement, SP Gambo also mentioned that search teams are still scouring the region for terrorists.
