NLC President Ajaero has been summoned by the police for a second time. Discover the reasons behind this latest police action.

On September 5th, 2024, the President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero and General Secretary Emma Ugboaja have been once again called to make an appearance at Force Headquarters by the police.

Just 24 hours after Ajaero’s compliance with the Police invitation regarding suspected involvement in criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion and cybercrime, a fresh invitation has been issued.

On this occasion, the police requested that both the NLC President and General Secretary attend to respond to accusations of criminal intimidation, behavior with potential for inciting public unrest, and intentionally damaging property.
