Various degrees of injuries were sustained by the other members of the gang who managed to flee, as mentioned by Chinaka.
At approximately 11:28 a.m., armed men riding in an ash-colored Sienna vehicle launched an attack on police officers patrolling Ngwa Road/Mosque Junction as part of the Rapid Response Squad. Despite this aggression, the law enforcement officials were able to repel their assailants and avoid a potentially more serious incident.
The expired individuals have been moved to a funeral home, and authorities are actively investigating in order to capture the perpetrators who fled. Chinaka provided reassurance regarding public safety while also urging citizens not to let fear disrupt their daily routines. Furthermore, she suggested that residents report any dubious figures or those displaying signs of bullet wounds directly to nearby law enforcement stations for assistance.
