Upon exploring their deserted car, authorities uncovered fifteen fully automatic pump-action rifles and thirty cartridges cunningly concealed in a sack.
The public was reassured by CP Danmamman that the authorities are exerting a joint effort to locate the vehicle’s owner and capture those who fled.
He added, “We continue with our investigation to identify the car’s proprietor and detain the runaway perpetrators in order to uncover both where they obtained their pump-action rifles from as well as their intentions behind it all.” The matter is currently being investigated at SCID Minna.
The constant efforts of the Niger State Police Command to tackle illicit arms trafficking and boost security in the area have been highlighted by this triumphant recovery.
The inquiry is still ongoing, with a firm dedication from law enforcement personnel to prosecute those responsible for their actions.
