According to a statement released on Sunday by Benjamin Hundeyin, public relations officer, the event happened on October 27, 2022, in the Ejigbo region.

Joy and Moses, a 7-year-old victim who she kidnapped in Olopo Meta, were both apprehended in the Omi Adio region of Oyo State.

However, Bright was saved by the police in Akute, Ogun State, on the same day the woman was taken into custody.

A deeper look found that Joy lived next door to Bright’s parents and had been paid N55,000 for his return.

Then, after begging her friend in Akute to watch the youngster while she went shopping, she left with him.
