Police in Fika, Yobe State, detain suspected kidnapper while pursuing others

In an effort to stem the tide of crime in society, the Nigeria Police Force’s Fika Divisional Station in Yobe State, acting on tip-off information, has detained Kabir Sani, a suspected kidnapper from Tadangara village, at Ngalda Market.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yobe Police Command, Damaturu, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, disclosed the information.

He claimed that the suspect, a 27-year-old man, was detained on suspicion of kidnapping, murder, and armed robbery.

The suspect is cooperating with our investigation and assisting in the hunt for more syndicate members to be apprehended. The Fika, Gulani, and Gujba LGA axis is the location of the ongoing operation and search.

A motorcycle, several various brands of sim cards, an AK-47 weapon with a filled magazine of ammo, and other exhibits have all been found while an investigation is ongoing.

He continued by saying that the state’s criminal elements are being expelled, and the commissioner of police, CP Garba Ahmed, is asking for everyone’s help to ensure a society free from crime.
