The Enugu State Police Command has successfully dismantled a criminal organization involved in the theft of tricycles across several states in the South East region.
In a statement released by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, it was revealed that two suspected members of the syndicate have been apprehended.
The commendable achievement was made possible through the diligent efforts of the command’s detectives, who are stationed at the Central Police Station in Enugu, with the invaluable support of members from the Neighbourhood Watch Group.
The arrested individuals, Michael Okorie (18) and Christian Okorie (19), both males from Onicha Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, were caught on April 5, 2024, at approximately 11 am on Mbanugo Street in the Coal Camp area of Enugu metropolis.
