Police have remanded Verydarkman for cyberbullying
Martins Vincent Otse, a well-known social media critic with the alias Verydarkman, has been detained in police custody by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The court remanded him after he was charged with cyberbullying against popular Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dike.
Despite pleading not guilty, Verydarkman will remain in custody until the next hearing on Wednesday, May 29.

In response to his detention, Verydarkman’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, filed a bail application.
However, the prosecutor requested additional time to prepare a response, resulting in the court adjourning the bail hearing to May 29.
