Police Display the Man Who Burned Five Children in Ondo
Joseph Ojo, 64, was arrested by the Ondo State Police Command after setting his five children’s bedroom on fire.
Funmilayo Odunlami, the command’s spokeswoman, told reporters at the command’s headquarters in Akure, the state’s capital, that three of the charred youngsters had passed away and that the other two were being treated for their wounds.
Three members of the Eye cult who were detained by the police while on route to an operation are also paraded.
Patrick Ejeh, 35, was also detained for having a Toyota Camry that had been taken from him in Akure under duress.
The police spokeswoman stated that while there are ongoing investigations to identify other individuals, those who have been paraded will face legal charges.
