Social media personality Bobrisky has been hospitalized after reportedly falling ill during police detention. The incident has raised concerns among fans and followers about his health and well-being.

Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris, known as Bobrisky, has allegedly become ill while being held at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

After spending a night in a police cell, Bobrisky was taken to Falomo Police Hospital for medical attention.

A report from Vanguard revealed that a source confirmed Bobrisky was moved from the FCID to the hospital for medical care. The source stated, “Bobrisky complained of chest pain and was quickly taken in an ambulance with license plate LND 339L to the Police Hospital in Lagos’ Falomo area around 2:00 p.m. He wore a black gown, used a shawl to cover his face, and lay down inside the ambulance.”

On Monday night, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) took Bobrisky into custody following an arrest at the Seme border in Lagos over allegations of attempting to leave the country.

According to reports, he might stay in custody as investigators examine the details surrounding his arrest. The FCID is anticipated to request a remand order to extend his detention.

A statement from the FCID about Bobrisky’s condition is expected later today.

Kenneth Udo, the spokesperson for NIS, confirmed the arrest and identified Bobrisky as “a person of interest.” He explained that the NIS apprehended him at the Seme border in line with ongoing initiatives to safeguard Nigeria’s borders.
