Felix Egbe, the former Youth Secretary of the Oteri community in the Ughelli North Local Government Local Government Area of the state, has been taken into custody by Delta State Police Command operations under the command of ASP Julius Robinson.

On June 14, 2024, the 37-year-old was taken into custody on charges of organising a planned cult conflict in the Oteri village.

In a statement on Tuesday, SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for Delta State Police, confirmed the arrest.

He claims that the suspect is a well-known cultist and Eiye Confraternity member.

After being questioned, the suspect led investigators to his home, where a Beretta handgun was found. An investigation is still underway.
