Police declare Oyo transport chief auxiliary wanted

Mukaila Lamidi alias Auxiliary, the dismissed Chairman of Park Management System (PMS), has been declared sought by the Oyo State Police Command, according to a press briefing held by the authorities on Friday.

According to Channels Television, detectives raided the Ibadan home of Auxiliary and recovered weapons and ammunition.

During the operation, the suspect reportedly escaped, while the police apprehended some of his lieutenants.

There was palpable tension in some parts of the state following the search, particularly in main car parks and garages in Ibadan, amidst unconfirmed reports of a number of casualties during the confrontation between police and PMS members.
