Police confirm Six people were abducted in Taraba village
The state’s alleged kidnappers have reportedly taken six people hostage, according to the Taraba State Police Command.
Only a few days have passed since Emmanuel Yaro, an inspector of police assigned to the Kurmi Division, was abducted.
Police Public Relations Officer Abdullahi Usman confirmed the claim, stating that they were kidnapped in the Yorro local government council’s Pupule region.
He claimed that the incident occurred on Thursday at around 2:30 in the morning and that the command is doing everything in its power to ensure the victims’ release.

He claimed that hunters are working with the command’s anti-kidnapping team, strike force unit, and vigilantes to find the kidnappers.
He asked anyone with relevant information to get in touch with the command or other sister security organisations.
According to some community members who spoke with DAILY POST, the kidnappers broke into the neighbourhood when the residents were asleep.
They begged the state administration and the security services to keep an eye on the local government council, claiming that bandits and kidnappers are progressively taking control of it.
They called for increased area surveillance, citing the recent kidnapping of the son of a former council chairman and the horrific murder of a 15-year-old by rapists.
They implored the rescuers to work nonstop to aid with the victims’ rescue, describing them as the family’ primary providers.
