Regarding a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing, two people were charged on Thursday at the Akure Magistrates’ Court.
The suspects, Oluwatimilehin Agunloko, a 17-year-old male, and Omolola Adebayo, a 32-year-old female, were accused of plotting to commit a felony, namely kidnapping, and then committing an offence.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Simon Wada, stated that the suspects carried out the offences on October 28 in Owo, within the state’s Owo Local Government Area.

He clarified that Agunloko was the missing girl’s boyfriend and that the other suspect was thought to have spoken to her on the phone the last time.
Section 3 of the Ondo State Anti-Kidnapping and Anti-Abduction Law and Section 516 of the Criminal Code Cap. 37, Vol. 1 Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria 2006, according to Wada, were violated by the offences.
Nonetheless, each of the accused entered a not guilty plea to the allegations.
Mr. Damilo, the magistrate, made a decision about their bail request.
