Two suspected armed robbers have been taken into custody by police officers from the Area Command in Asaba, Delta State, in relation to the most recent robbery operation that took place in and around Coka.
Anukwu Joseph and 21-year-old Ozuluonye Okonkwo are among the suspects.
On May 20, they were taken into custody at various locations, according to Obasanjonews.com.
SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for Delta State Police, verified the development in a statement on Thursday.
He claimed that after sending out operatives to the area, the police first detained Okonkwo.

The suspect admitted to Edafe that he and his crew were in charge of the robbery operation in and around Coka after being questioned.
“His confession resulted in the arrest of one Anukwu Joseph; the gun supplier and gang leader is still at large.”
“Suspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing,” SP Edafe continued.
