The Lagos State Government has stated that it is ready to work with the Polish Government to improve both the state’s and the nation’s overall economic operations.
This was said by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during a courtesy visit by Ms. Joanna Tarnawaska, the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, at Alausa, Ikeja.
The governor announced that the state was prepared to collaborate with the Polish government through its Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Cooperatives. He was represented by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
The relationship between the two tiers of government and the Polish government would be excellent, according to Sanwo-Olu.
We are prepared to collaborate with various Polish businesses for the general development of Lagos state and Nigeria.
“”We have a federal government that is willing to listen and work to advance every aspect of the economy economically and financially.
Therefore, with your cooperation with the state’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Cooperatives, we will ensure that we boost our economic operations and of course Nigeria.
The governor claimed that because Lagos served as the hub of all national activity and was home to almost all ethnic groupings, the cooperation would help the nation as a whole.
