Plumptre achieves second hat-trick in Saudi League
In a Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League match on Thursday night, Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Ahly 6-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre.
For the Jeddah-based team this season, it was the center-back’s second hat-trick.

Al Ittihad’s second, fourth, and fifth goals of the match were all scored by Plumptre.
It will be remembered that on matchday one against Eastern Flames FC in October, the 25-year-old scored a hat-trick for Al Ittihad.
So far this season, she has netted six goals for her team in six league games.
Plumptre shares the league scoring lead with Al Nassr player Clara Luvanga of Tanzania.
