Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State denounced the killing of Ardo Adamu Gabdo, the Fulani chief of Panyam District in the state’s Mangu Local Government Area (LGA).
Unknown as of yet, the Fulani chieftain was murdered.
Mutfwang denounced the murder in a statement made on Saturday in Jos by his Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA), Mr. Gyang Bere.
The commander of Operation Safe Haven, Maj.-Gen. Abdusalam Abubakar, recently informed Mangu stakeholders during a meeting that three suspects had been detained in relation to the crime.
However, in the statement made public on Wednesday, the governor, who expressed condolences to the Ardo’s immediate family, pledged to help security authorities find those responsible for the crime.

He pleaded with traditional and community leaders to join the government and security forces in their efforts to make the Plateau a crime-free zone.
While we applaud OPSH’s efforts for finding the deceased ardo’s body, we also want to make a plea to all state residents to follow the law.
“Security agencies should be notified immediately of any criminal activity.
The governor declared, “We are dedicated to defending the rule of law in confronting all manners of illegal activities in the state.
In addition, Mutfwang pledged to treat every citizen equally and justly, regardless of their ethnicity or religious background.
