A Council on Ease of conducting Business has been established by Governor Caleb Mutfwang to address any obstacles to conducting business in Plateau State.
During the Council’s inauguration on Thursday in Jos, Mutfwang noted that the action will assist remove barriers that citizens and investors have when trying to start and expand their enterprises in the state.
The governor, who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Josephine Piyo, stated that his administration is implementing new policies and programmes to encourage the ease of doing business, draw in more sincere investors, and increase foreign direct investments into the state.

He stated that promoting a favourable business climate is essential for the expansion and advancement of the economy.
“It is our common duty to make sure that businesses grow and prosper, creating more job opportunities and raising the standard of living for our people.
“Plateau is blessed with plenty of resources and unrealized potential; we have a solid base from which to grow by cooperating to realise our full potentials.
Small and medium-sized enterprises, which contribute to a thriving economy and a contented populace by expanding employment opportunities for people, are the backbone of our nation, according to the speaker.
