Nigeria residents journeying to the UK can now schedule appointments to submit their visa applications at VFS Global’s new advanced Visa Application Centres (VAC) in Abuja, Ikeja (Lagos), and Victoria Island (Lagos). These centers have been operational since November 19.

“I am thrilled to see the inauguration of Africa’s largest visa application center. Nigeria continues to be one of the UK’s key partners, and we look forward to VFS providing even better services for those applying for UK visas,” stated British Deputy High Commissioner Jonny Baxter.

Marc Owen, the Director of Visa, Status and Information Services at UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), stated: “The inauguration of our new VAC in Ikeja represents an exciting milestone for both UKVI and VFS Global. It underscores our commitment to providing world-class UK visa services here in Nigeria.”

Over the year leading up to June 2024, we processed over 225,000 UK visas for Nigerian nationals across all categories. This new partnership highlights our ongoing dedication to making sure our visa services are accessible and efficient while meeting the needs of all applicants.
