Following the terrorists’ botched ambush on troops on the Damboa-Maiduguri route in Borno State, the troops of Operation Hadin Kai’s 25 Task Force Brigade have once more neutralized a number of ISWAP and Boko Haram terrorists with close air support on Monday, January 23, 2023.

The brave soldiers also found firearms, medical supplies, and motorcycles.

In a brief statement released by the Army, they expressed their gratitude to the locals and well-meaning Nigerians for their prayers and support, which they claim have contributed to the victories in the fight against terrorists in the North East that have been recorded.

In response to the achievement, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), praised the soldiers for their bravery and asked them to continue their efforts until terrorism and other criminal activity in the Northeastern region are put an end to.
