Selimota Suleiman was the woman killed by a train headed for Kaduna on Thursday morning at the Chikakore axis of Kubwa in Abuja.
The woman who died was an employee of NTA Channel 5 Abuja. The network’s management says that she was on her way to work when the accident happened.
Suleiman served as the finance division’s principal accountant up until her passing.
A witness says that Suleiman, who was driving her own car, tried to cross the rail line as the Abuja-Kaduna train was coming up fast. This happened about five minutes from the Kubwa Train Station.
In a statement, Josephine Adeh, who is the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, said that the event would happen.

According to the statement, the terrible rail/motor accident that occurred at the Chikakore axis in the Kubwa Area council of the FCT is known to the FCT Police Command.
“As soon as they heard about it, crime scene investigators from the Byazin Divisional Police Headquarters rushed to the scene, took care of the situation, and found that a doctor had already pronounced the victim dead.
“The railway division with jurisdiction over the track has started an investigation. To prevent a repeat of this occurrence in the near future, existing safety recommendations and findings will be reemphasized.
