Following a tanker explosion at a petrol station in the Rigasa district of Kaduna State, no fewer than twenty people suffered injuries of varying severity.
This was revealed on Thursday in a Kaduna interview with NAN by Mr. Paul Aboi, the director of the Kaduna State Fire Service.

According to Aboi, the injured included bystanders, some members of the Kaduna Vigilance Service, and five federal firefighters.
According to the director, the wounded fire fighters are presently getting care at Kaduna’s Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital.
He claims that the event happened on Wednesday as the tanker was unloading petrol at the station.
Aboi said that the petrol unloading shouldn’t have been done in the afternoon and blamed the situation on the filling station’s incompetence.
