Peter Okoye responds to accusations of song theft, urging his brother Paul to allow him to work on his music without distractions. Discover more about the sibling’s ongoing dispute and Peter’s stance on the matter.
Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P and one-half of the popular music duo P-Square, has denied allegations made by his twin brother and former bandmate Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, accusing him of song theft.
recalls that Rudeboy recently alleged that Mr. P and their former producer, Vampire, had stolen his songs.
He stated that he had written and sung a song called “Winning,” which was intended to be part of his album set for release next year. To his astonishment, Mr. P released the identical track with the same producer’s involvement.
In response to the allegation, Mr. P asserted that he and Calypso60 co-wrote and composed the song together.

He asserted that it was impossible for him to have stolen his own song, as alleged by his twin brother.
He pleaded with his brother to let him concentrate on making music and put an end to the negativity.
In an Instagram post, Mr. P stated, “One cannot steal their own property! All is well! Thank you, @iam_vampire_official, for the clarification.”
Just to clarify, “Winning” was written and composed by @calypso60music and me. It was produced by @iam_vampire_official with co-production from @goldswarm.
They all deserve recognition, and I appreciate them.
As I mentioned in my open letter three months back, “Please let me create my music without interference.”
With the release of my new single, WINNING, I kindly ask for some peace to enjoy it. Let’s leave the negativity behind!
“‘Winning’ is available on all music platforms; keep streaming and stay focused. Love you all, peace.”
