Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has said that he will spend Christmas at the camps for people who have been forced to leave their homes in Idah and Ibaji, Kogi State.
This was said in a statement that the state publicity secretary, Idakwo Emmanuel, gave to journalists in Lokoja on Friday. The statement was signed by Ahmed Mohammed, who is the party chairman for Kogi State.
The LP chairman said that Obi and other Catholics from Kogi State will be there.
Part of the statement said, “His Excellency, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, will be celebrating Christmas day, December 25, with the less fortunate residing in the IDP camps near Idah and Ibaji districts.”
He added that all patriots should maintain their motivation as the party cooperates to create a new Nigeria that would make everyone proud.
