On Thursday, Daniel Bwala, an ex-spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar – the 2023 People Democratic Party (PDP) presidential hopeful – referred to Peter Obi; a former Labour Party presidential candidate as a political opportunist.

Bwala predicted that Obi would follow the same path as Doyin Okupe and Isaac Balami by leaving LP in the near future.

It was observed that Obi had a history of political party switches, having moved from the PDP to APGA and then back again to the PDP before ultimately joining LP.

Bwala responded to Balami’s choice of abandoning LP for the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Bwala wrote on X platform that Doyin Okupe was mentioned the other day and now his brother Isaac Balami. He predicts that Kenneth Okonkwo will be next due to two reasons, as he says.

“As loyal citizens, we recognize the need to unite and support our president during this challenging time as he steers Nigeria towards a new course.”
