Peter Obi of IPOB who is supported by the government of Abia requests an investigation into the claims

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) have claimed that the Abia State administration does not support their operations.

A further denial was made by the Alex Otti-led administration on the use of public funds to support Peter Obi’s legal actions as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate on February 25.

The press conferences where the claims were made, according to the Abia government, are believed to have been sponsored by the two opposition parties who are currently contesting Otti’s election to the governorship in court.

They went so far as to demand that the governorship election judgement scheduled for October 6, 2023 not be delivered in Abia because the Abia State government allegedly has plans to intimidate the Justices into ruling in favour of Governor Alex Otti or, alternatively, would ensure that the Judges would be killed if they fail to rule in the Governor’s favour, according to Ekeoma.
