Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has been told to find something else to do while he waits for the Election Petition Tribunal to rule on his petition, according to Adewale Giwa, senior pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry.
Giwa asserted that Obi was merely amusing Nigerians on Sunday while speaking to his supporters in Akure.
I knew he couldn’t have gone too far, the man remarked. On social media, no level of popularity can endure. If the time isn’t right, then the time isn’t right! Atiku, his boss, who had elevated him to fame, was betrayed by him. Why did you not wait to fight the struggle in your political party if you truly loved Nigeria as much as you claimed? Suddenly, you acted differently and pretended you were not a part of the system that got us to where we are right now.
Proverbs 16:5 states that God is not able to tolerate pride, pretense, and betrayal. According to the Lord, people up top will be put in their proper positions. If something goes wrong in Nigeria, we already know which politicians to blame.
“He is just wasting his time amusing Nigerians; remember how I told you that the last presidential election was between the two old men I called thieves. I predicted that eventually, the superior candidate will take charge of the nation.
Since they didn’t want to hear the truth, Obi’s supporters abused me when I also told you that he was a presidential contender on social media. Their pastors convinced them they would succeed throughout a series of meetings. He has now unexpectedly grown affluent, taking advantage of the less fortunate individuals who had no idea where he was going. Some people believe that the truth is stranger than fiction.
“My brother, I beg you not to squander your time. Because man looks at the outward appearance while the Lord looks at the heart, the Lord does not see things the same way as man.
“It’s up to whoever is President to show some of us right or wrong,” he continued. The results will come with time. All of them are dishonest politicians; we want you to consider the people when you’re robbing the country and give them a piece of the cake.
“Nigeria’s inhabitants are the rightful owners of the funds. The least that can be said is that nothing prevents you from improving Nigeria and defending the human rights of every Nigerian.
