Peter Obi donates N20m to support Enugu hospital

In order to build a College of Nursing Sciences at the Faith Foundation Mission Hospital in Enugu State, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has given N20 million.

He made this revelation in a post on his X handle on Monday, November 13.

He posted a caption that read, “Over the weekend, I visited Nsukka in Enugu State, where I donated N20 million to the Faith Foundation Mission Hospital, Nsukka.” This is in line with my pledge to fund the most important sectors of the country’s development, such as poverty alleviation, health, and education.

with the Anglican Bishop of Nsukka, Rt Rev. Aloysius Agbo, I am providing the hospital with my first assistance with this donation to enable them to start construction on a College of Nursing Sciences.

“Primary healthcare delivery, the cornerstone of any reputable healthcare system, revolves around healthcare professionals.

As a result, we need to give healthcare worker training more serious consideration, particularly in light of the fact that both our beloved country and the rest of the world are experiencing a shortage of these specialists.

I applaud the Bishop for taking the risk to establish a College of Nursing Sciences, as well as his whole staff at Faith Foundation Hospital.
