Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the February 15, 2023, election, has denounced the Supreme Court’s decisions upholding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election as the victor.
Obi made this statement on Monday in Abuja at a global press conference hosted by the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Office.
According to him, the supreme court’s decisions go counter to the substantial evidence of identity theft, election tampering, and a fabrication of a technological error.
The Supreme Court, he said, has moved a moral weight out of the courtroom and onto society.

He berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not carrying out its mandate as required by law.
Obi stated that Nigerians’ faith in the legal system was shaken by the Supreme Court’s ruling.
Obi claims that the ruling puts a stop to his quest for justice on the way the 2023 presidential election was handled.
“I want to assure Nigerian youth that this is not the end of our journey, but rather the beginning,” he stated, expressing his admiration for their incredible enthusiasm.
“We have one Nigeria as our destination, so we will persevere and endure until he gets there.”
