Peter Obi Attends Mr. Ibu’s Funeral

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 general elections, has made an appearance at the funeral of the late Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, in Enugu state.

A video shared by an X user shows Mr Peter Obi arriving at Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State to pay his respects to the late Nollywood actor, Chief John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu.

In October 2023, reports surfaced indicating that Mr Ibu was unwell and in need of financial support. By November 2023, his family confirmed that one of his legs had been amputated in a bid to save his life. Sadly, the beloved comic actor passed away on Saturday, March 2.
