Pelosi, whose husband, Paul Pelosi, was a target of an assassination attempt, denounced the attack and expressed gratitude to God for protecting the former President.
“As someone who has experienced political violence within my family, I understand firsthand that any form of political violence has no place in our society. I am thankful that former President Trump is safe,” she stated on X.
“As we gather more information about this tragic incident, let us pray for the safety of all those present at the former President’s rally today.”
