Lagos government: PDP’s Jandor’s campaign DG dumps him hours before the election.
Seye Dairo, the campaign director general for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, commonly known as Jandor, quit just hours before the Saturday governorship election.
Dairo, who disclosed the information in a letter, provided no justification for the decision.
Yet in the letter, Dairo thanked Jandor for providing him the chance to represent the party’s election campaign as its director general.
Remember that numerous party chieftains previously abandoned the PDP candidate in favour of an alliance with either the Labour Party or the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
There are hints that Dairo would be working on Saturday for Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a Labour Party candidate.
