The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secured a decisive victory, winning all 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the recent Bauchi council poll. This landslide result solidifies the party’s dominance in the region.
In the polls held on August 17th in Bauchi State, the victory was secured by The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across all 20 local government areas.
On Saturday night, Alhaji Ahmed Makama, the Executive Chairman of Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC), announced the outcomes.
According to OBASANJONEWS, the All Progressives Congress (APC) had raised worries that the ruling PDP and BASIEC could potentially tamper with election results in favor of PDP ahead of voting day.
It is anticipated that the APC will not accept the results.
The Chairmen-elect are expected to be sworn in on Sunday, August 18.
