The PDP Senators caucus is making efforts to address the ongoing crisis within the party, aiming to restore unity and strengthen the party’s leadership ahead of upcoming elections.

On Thursday, the Senate caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took steps to address and resolve the ongoing crisis within the party.

The development came after a closed-door meeting lasting over three hours, led by Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro.

After the meeting, Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, informed journalists that a larger committee has been established. This committee includes former governors from the PDP and several notable leaders who have been tasked with engaging aggrieved members.

He stated that the Committee members have been assigned to identify areas of grievances and ensure peaceful resolution prior to submitting their reports, allowing the party to progress.
